character info. edith (eddie) joan kye, born oct 17th 1970 in gering, nebraska. she/her, femme lesbian. 24-46 years old (verse dependent). only daughter of melissa kye, father unknown. medium height, slight but soft build, long medium-to-dark brown hair, pale blue eyes. grew up on her grandparents farm from the age of five, mother frequently absent. left high school at 17 and later left gering a few months after turning 18. currently travels and works seasonal jobs in food service or retail / general light labor. usually stays with coworkers or in short-term housing, sometimes lives out of her old volvo. always dreamed of being a singer—plays some guitar that her grandmother taught her and occasionally plays open mics or songwriter nights but lacks any outstanding musical talent.
