UPCAT 2020 result is OUT! Congrats to all passers and to the new Isko and Iska. Padayon! Brings back memories when I take the UPCAT and waiting to release the passers and of course, I was on the pending list and then after an hour, my name was on the list of the passers of UPLB but I didn’t pursue. I try to enroll in UP - Manila but my quota grade didn’t suited to the course that I wanted to enroll, so I decided to gave up and try my luck to other universities. UST and FEU: Financial problem. So I ended to study at New Era University where the tuition fee was suited to my parents salary. But now, I want to try to pursue my medical course in UP - Manila. I hope that I passed the entrance exam and interview. GANBATTE! AJA!

I just watched the UAAP Cheerdance Competition videos now because I was at Cosmania yesterday and I am hella bitter we lost. I would have settled for second against UST but NU again? Seriously?

I legit welled up when the 'UP Naming Mahal' rendition started playing. Or maybe it's a pride thing. Still so proud though. It was a really really good performance.

UP Fight for Equality!

NU might have the title, but UP brought it to a whole new level. They did it with a purpose and a very important message that reached everyone -the colors, the rainbow and even the cheer- Kasarian, lahi, kulay, Antas ng buhay Lahat pantay-pantay! Ba-A-Ha-A-Ga-Ha-A-Ra-I! NU deserves to be the title holder, their execution was perfect despite the difficult stunts. They were very stable and I just knew they would win the judges' approval. But UP won over the hearts of the people and they are the real champions for those who truly understood the meaning behind their powerful performance. Mabuhay ang mga iskolar ng bayan!

UNIBERSIDAD NG PILIPINAS!

Last Saturday, I watched the UAAP 75th Cheerdance Competition live at MOA Arena. It was my first time! I was so happy when I learned that our professor in PE said that he will be the one to provide the tickets for us, meaning, no need to line and "fight" for those tickets that sell like hotcakes. (My PE is Cheerdancing, btw.)

As a first year college student, it was really an awesome experience -- knowing that some UP professors haven't watched the CDC live even once. I got to watch all the performances, cheer our yell along with other people, and of course, shout most of the time whenever the UP Pep Squad displayed stunts that seem to defy gravity. My favorite part obviously is when they announced the winners: Stunner of the Year, champion in Group Stunts Competition and Cheerdance Competition. UP got them all. I kept on cheering and shouting even though my throat was aching.

It was worth it. Really, really worth it. I still got goosebumps whenever I watch the UP Pep Squad's performance again. That's a sign of a true champion! I shall watch CDC again live next year, if opportunity permits me. (I hope it will!)
