۞ Specs and Trapper!
I- what, you mean them both? I- uh-
…seeing as that meme was meant to be asked about yourself, anon, I am not obligated to answer this.
Soooo apparently it's Ragnarok day.
Gonna go break out the mead and get drunk.
Why do I have this sudden urge to sing ABBA.

Uplink's job required very little human interaction- oh sure, there was the occasional security guard or janitor to be avoided, but these days, companies relied on mostly electronic security measures to protect their assets. But electronics were not infallible, especially when faced with someone who spoke their language and knew how to manipulate it. A thought overrode the card reader at the door; a touch began an infinite feedback loop in the cameras; a skip and a jump later and Uplink was up the stairs.
Anyone watching (an impossibility as the cameras were no longer working) would be confused as the supposedly apparent thief passed by the obvious targets- the R&D lab didn't warrant a second glance, the vault didn't perk her interest. Her target was much higher and much less valuable on the common market- the CEO's personal computer and files. A liberal application of nanobots easily unlocked the door (at the cost of the lock, but good luck figuring out what managed to do that kind of damage), and a push sent it swinging silently inwards. "Swank." She commented dryly, her deadpan coming out even more monotone through her helmet's voice filters. Any burglar would cry to see the technopath pass by an antique Ming vase and a painting worth hundreds of thousands of dollars on the wall for the admittedly aging computer sitting on the sleek black desk.
"Let's see... password is... Jcash? Really? Well, I guess you can take the boy out of the South..." She chuckled, unlocking the screen. Ada grimaced at the rather tasteless nude for a background (really, professional setting means nothing here), and began digging for the files she was looking for.
Uplink's job required little human interaction. Which was why she was surprised when her proximity alarm flashed brilliantly red in her visor's HUD. Not looking up to see who had joined her, Ada primed the suit's nanotech defenses. "You'll have to forgive my manners, I don't usually have visitors while I'm working. You haven't yelled freeze or anything else insipid yet, so I'm assuming you aren't a guard. So... what are you doing here?" She questioned, fingers still flying over the keys and eyes on the screen even as she spoke.

...what do you mean "unless"?
Night Shift (open starter)
It was that time of the night again. Adalynn had, on more than one occasion, jokingly called it her night shift. It was mostly accurate- only it wasn’t Ada who worked this shift; not exactly, anyway. Uplink reached up and tapped the side of her helmet, zooming in on the building across from her perch.
Anyone who knew Adalynn Lovelace would have been amazed to see her use such patience, coming back to the same gargoyle lined church for over a week now, patiently watching and planning and waiting for the best opportunity to break into Leonard Bishop’s office and steal her information.
But here she was. Sitting on a gargoyle that surely had an imprint of her butt worn into it at this point. Patience was not her virtue, but she wasn’t going to rush this. She’d sit, and she’d wait, and she would get Leonard Bishop when the time was right.
All she could hope for now is that her night would go uninterrupted.
((Like the title says, this is an open RP starter, so any of Gotham’s night life is free to happen upon her and ruin what should be a relatively quiet night of figuring out the best way to break into a building))
Trigger happy
"Let’s face facts, Billie," Ada purred, her voice hitching and warbling mechanically, "We both know that gun isn’t going to do you any good. After all, you can’t kill something that isn’t technically alive." She said delightedly, her eyes glowing red and emphasizing the circuitry running beneath her skin.
