that night, uraraka had been nestled comfortably up on the roof, smelling the fresh night air while the cold wind stung her tear-stained cheeks. it was not necessarily the safest place to be, but it was one of the most comforting ones. nobody could bother her, or invade her. she also got to hear sounds exclusive to the nighttime, such as the comforting sounds of the wind traveling all around. she got to feel it blow on her face && through her hair. though the wind is invisible, that doesn’t mean that it can’t carry emotion and thought everywhere it goes. she hadn’t even changed out of her hero suit, yet. she was too lazy to change out of it that day; she was upset about how poor she had done in training that day. she was embarrassed about it. not to mention, she was also sad that day because for some reason things just seemed different; she figured it was just one of those off days that everyone has. she was a teenager- surely she’d be experiencing mood swings, right?
she hadn’t even noticed anybody else was there until she heard a voice ask if she was okay. she jumped a little && turned around to see a familiar figure standing in the dark of the night. she relaxed quickly and sighed, turning back around to gaze at the sky delicately painted with shining stars && constellations. ❛ n…not really, ❜ she admitted lowly, her eyes missing their usual glimmer. ❛ but… i should be fine, i’m probably just overreacting because of a dumb reason! ❜
the rooftop was windy, throwing his hair this way and that. shinsou’s head would lull to the side when uraraka quickly gave her confirmation to his previous assumption. while she spoke, he moved forward, moving to sit beside her.
hands would fall to his lap as he simply listened, watching the flickering lights of the city go on and off at the pleasure of their owners. it was fairly relaxing. no wonder she chose up here to try and unwind.
at her explanation, shinsou would just raise an eyebrow and turn toward her. they weren’t close, not by a longshot. however, he felt that he shoudl step in here.
❝ if you’re upset, its not dumb. ❞ a shrug, and he glances back toward the city.
❝ you know, i’m a pretty good listener. i’m not going to go running to the first person i see and telling them either. it’s your business. it just sounds liek you need someone to vent to. ❞
