From that I extracted the idea of multi-living and the multilayering of the city systems. Whereas Bangkok city systems features the different building typologies, mine would portray the simplicity of aggregates, and breaks down into a non hierarchical diverse figurative yet still holds a clear hierarchy.
This diagram shows how my initial project began to construct, referring back to Bangkok’s Hierarchy Diagram I wanted to create a similar concept of multilateralism to my structure. I first started with the base of the structure being a gridded frame, then following the boxes to add volume yet still keeps the porosity and the density alive. Lastly are the figuratives and forms which are a result from various experiments and trials of forms, figures and materiality.
