After the Critical Failure of the Second City, Toxicom tried to build Stations in orbit connected to the Walled Off Cities by Sky Bridges only for the Stations to go silent.

Now only some brave scavvers even dare enter them and rarely survive.

The Ghostwoods is a term for areas where Real Space and Fold Space weave together, effecting the genetics of both its residents and fauna/flora.

This energy tends to be from the realms Yumi and Tirnanog.

Random lore bit: if the Five Folds were to...well...unfold, it would increase the size of the planet by 2.5 times the size. It would also create a second moon as that would be how the Void Fold would manifest.

Necropolis is the smallest Fold and has already unfolded.

For those who are keeping up on the small bits of lore for Rustbelt; the company that discovered the Folds and found the means to harvest energy from them was Toxicom.

They are the company that would set the world ablaze.
