with a lit cigarette resting between his index and middle fingers, he brings the filter to his lips, inhaling the toxins as his he finally casts a glance in the male’s direction; his typical stare, appearing bored with the world when it wasn’t aflame. and he had told himself time and time again that he wouldn’t go through with this, that he’d for once listen to the voice inside his head insisting there were better options, other ways to seek what he’s looking to gain; but he doesn’t listen, he never has. “i don’t recall asking for your input on the matter in the first place, jin.” he comments, that familiar wretched smile returning back on his face as he flickers his gaze towards the wall; anywhere is better than seeing the disappointment that is sure to pass through his friend’s eyes. but uriah suppresses the guilt with ease, buries it away for the time being, too thrilled by the scheme he’s concocted in his thoughts. “and if you plan on stopping me, i’d advise against that,” the words are a warning, and despite the numerous possibilities to avoid such a situation from occurring, he can’t bring himself to stop, the promise of some excitement weighs too heavy. there’s nothing good about the look in uriah’s eyes as he continues to speak, his expression displaying nothing but false sympathy for the other male, “i’d really hate to see you get caught up in the crossfire.” pity soaks in his tone, flaunting the mockery behind his speech and while he should feel bad for the way he’s speaking to someone he’s come to adore; he doesn’t, the selfishness overpowering any better-judgment he might have had.
he huffed in annoyance, the sharp breath making the faded moss greens trands of hair over his eyes bounce lightly. he could tell when the older was growing tired of jin's stubborn attitude to his adventurous antics but he couldn't help it. the idea of racing hunks of metal against possible criminals for the sake of adrenaline and a few won just didn't seem like a good use of uriah's time. but no matter how hard he tried, jin could never sway the other's determination. it was more than frustrating but it made uriah who he was. the look in his elder's eyes sent a chill down his spine; nothing good would ever come from the mischevious glint in his eyes. it wasn't even mischievious, there was something far more devilish working in uriah's mind and it sprouted a bubble of nerves inside jin. "hyung--" jin began, not knowing where his words were taking him, "have you lost your mind? you could get hurt!" folding his arms tightly over his chest, jin pressed his lips together in a thin line, refusing to back down. although, with how easy it was to persuade him, it wouldn't be too long before jin was stood on the side lines as a uriah shaped blur shot past. "can you not do what normal people do and like-- sniff glue or something for a thrill?" so he didn't exactly know of any particularly dangerous hobbies, he was far too sensible to even consider participating in anything remotely frowned upon, let alone illegal. even his more rebellious members knew to keep him out of their ridiculous plans.
