Stark Trek URL Awards
In recognition of the fact that Trek tumblr has the best URLS in existence, I kind of want to create an event that celebrates this. Like, an Oscar’s style competition where people can nominate their favorite Trek URLs and a panel of judges (or all of us) can vote on winners in different categories. Just a silly celebration for the trek tumblr community. Would anyone else be interested in seeing or participating in something like that?
Proposed Categories:
Arcane
For URLS that only the most seasoned trekkie would even be able to identify as a trek reference
NSFV (not safe for vulcans)
Saucy and or suggestive urls
Puns
Self explanatory ;)
Minimalist perfection
Sleek and simple trek URLS
Maximalist perfection
Long as shit URLS that nevertheless slap.
Identity-character
URLs that celebrates diverse identities (gender, orientation, ability, culture, religion, ethnicity, etc) along with a trek element.
I Just Think It's Neat
Trek URLS that don’t fit into the above categories, but you think deserve recognition.
