This Day in WCW History: Scott Steiner and Booker T meet in the Finals of a tournament for the vacant US Title where Booker revives a downed referee only for Steiner to knock him out again, leading to Big Poppa Pump grabbing a foreign object from his trunks, bashing Booker T in the skull and making the cover to win his first United States Heavyweight Championship at Spring Stampede 1999.
