So I was gonna write tonight until I sat down with my computer and realized my USB drive won’t work. My computer doesn’t recognize it and keeps giving me a “insert disc drive into usb” error and telling me there’s no media on it.
After two hours of intense googling and multiple attempts at solutions I’m still at zero.
So, just to recap, my valuable usb drive with all of my recent writing on it, plus much of my commission stuff, is dead.
IT couldn’t do anything for my USB. I gave it to our level 1 who handed it off to her student. I don’t have much confidence he did much. I spoke to him yesterday and he said he couldn’t even get it to show up; I told him what I did (which I made happen with some simple googling) and he was like oh I’ll try that... yeah.
Not sure if I should try Best Buy or give it up. UGH.

Expressing how frustrating it can be for someone like me to have my computer auto-shut down some of my usb stuff XD seriously, I hope turning off the auto-shut down finally stops giving me headaches
