And folks with autism for those of you who prefer that label!
So I hear that communicating with and understanding us allistic folks can be hard and/or confusing for some of y'all. Social cues especially!
And as I understand it having a step by step list can help if you need to learn a behaviour but finding that sort of list can be pretty difficult for some things especially if they're second nature for allistics.
Human behaviour and communication are two of my special interests (yay adhd) and I absolutely love analyzing that stuff to an absurd degree. It has granted me the superpower of being able to put myself in anyone's shoes and understand why they act and think the way they do (if given enough information to accurately predict what I don't know).
If there is anything you need help understanding about allistics, or any social cues or behaviour you need help learning, anything you need help communicating etcetera, I am happy to help you parse it out.
I am actively non-judgmental but I'm not gonna blow smoke up your ass either so I can't promise I'll tell you what you want to hear. I believe truth and honesty can be compassionate though so even if I tell a hard truth I do it as kindly as possible.
Anyway the used car salesman vibe I've got going on is squicking me out so I'm gonna leave it here with this -
My ask box is open and anon is turned on for anyone who prefers that and I've got almost as much patience as the saints
