I hate gates with every fiber of my being but let me put this down for y'all despite the critics the original two are great games and have arguably the best story in pokemon. They were grand badass and epic with memorable characters. Gates however had a bland spoon fed story and while I admit hydragion was cool I still can't get over some of these fucking characters. Also for some reason the dungeons took forever to get through

blue was like the first pokemon spin-off i ever played and i fucking love it to pieces to this day!! I like sky the best for the story, features, special episodes, etc, but blue (and red but mostly blue) is a damn fine game, and pretty fuckin' hard at that.

As someone who really doesn't like the movie watching it again it has some of the best side cast and make up I have ever seen in a movie

I wonder if it would be any different if the books were published nowadays. I mean they aren't that old, but the world has gotten (somewhat?) more accepting over the past decade I think.
