Here's a beautiful view of the Navajo Sandstone of Zion National Park!

Not the first time Utah has had a desert, these outcrops are what remains of Jurassic sand dunes that covered a large swath of the Western United States. Most fossil material recovered from this formation consists of Dinosaur footprints and other trace fossils.
