hello everybody. 

it is yet ANOTHER monday and it’s time for another little writing task for you. this week: we have a HAUNTING THEME. please right something that haunts your character! it could be something from the past or maybe a current fear they have. some examples to help get those juices flowing:

somebody who’s haunted your character in the past

a mystery that your character could never quite solve

something that your character things about that it odd

maybe just a really scary halloween

if you have any questions, you know where to find is. please tag your stories with utghaunting.

Hello friends, 

sorry about my tardiness-- yesterday i had to take care of all that adult stuff people have been talking about. however, here i am with a new task. 

pick a moment in your character’s life and have them drop everything and write a diary entry. it could be something about their feeling in that particular moment, or maybe a moment that they want to preserve. please tag these with utgdiary. also drop them in the discord channel!

i’m so happy to see the success of the group’s first task. if you haven’t done it yet, no worries! you can STILL send them-- there is absolutely no rush. however, i will bestow upon you another task. 

for this week, let’s see a childhood memory. does your character remember this memory?? maybe they were too young? maybe it was just a random thing that happened? maybe they have constant dreams about this memory for no reason! here are some prompts that could get you thinking:

first childhood friend

the first time they were sad

the first time they were happy

the first time they were mad

first chilldhood memories of their mother or father of both

family traditions?

their FAVORITE TOY

their favorite expression or phase

their worse day as a child (because you know as a kid i was dramatic as hell)

hello my lovelies,

i’ve decided to torture you with a writing task. this month will be the month of self paras. for our first task, it’s now offically the middle of summer (kind of, almost july). it’s time to update each other on all the fun everybody is having over the break. you can write as many letters as you would like, however you have to write to your partner. the partners are as follows:

sebastian & brittany

quinn & tina

marley & brody

sam & santana

mike & rachel

finn & blaine

fyi, the character does not need to send them, or they can send them if they would like! it doesn’t matter. the point is to write a letter to a friend (or an enemy, whatever float y’alls boats).

a new task will show up every monday of this month. we don’t really have a due date for this stuff, therefore you can get this done whenever you’d like. please tag it with utgsummerletters and post it in the discord channel. any questions? you know where to find us.

there is nothing like a new main to make you happy. i’d like to give a shout out to our new admin lonsdale for all her hard work. next to do, the updates for the bios. hopefully, i’ll have that done on sunday. in the mean while, i wanted to go ahead and announce a couple of events that will be coming up over the summer:

june 28th - tina’s birthday

july 4th - independence day

july 10th - opening of west side story (if you need tickets, sebastian bought ten. just ask to have your character be sent a text)

july 31st - marley’s gender reveal party (everybody will be invited)

august 1st - cheer camp and football camp will begin (under discussion)

august 15th - austin’s gay pride parade 

august 26th - fall semester begins

if i happened to miss anything, let me know! i’m positive i went through all the birthdays and wrote them down. if you have an event to be placed on here, i can 100% do that. if there are any questions, you know where to find me.

Hello students, 

You are invited to join in the yearly Longhorn Charity Ball hosted by the girls of Zeta Phi. We here in Zeta Phi have a long standing tradition of hosting the dance for students to come out, eat, drink, dance, and hang out. All in the mean time, several items will be auctioned off-- food, gift cards, even trips for summer vacation. 

This year, we will be doing something different! We are inviting YOU to come help with the entertainment. While there will be a DJ and Austin’s very OWN Electric Glory, we want to feature some of our most talented Longhhorns. Want to perform? Reply to this email to sign up to audition. 

The ball will be held in the Longhorn Rooms in the JSOM building at 6:00 PM on 5/31/2020. Formal dress is required and there will be punch provided. All proceeds from the auctions along with entry fees will go toward  Any questions can be directed at your sisters at Zeta Phi.
