a drink or two they say calms the nerves. yoongi knows this saying, but he doesn’t entirely believe it considering that his body works differently than any regular human. being rich and wealthy meant that yoongi could invest in the finest alcohol. which is what he’s doing right now to spend the night where he usually lurks. a wandering mind could bring such amusement or chaos per say to the vampire.

lounging at a table by his lone self, yoongi takes a sip of his desired vodka. letting the alcohol burn his cold throat, aching with thirst as the liquid drips down. the vampire lets out a sigh, knowing that his coven members were preparing themselves for their meeting. yoongi on the other hand however, had his own things to do. whether it be causing trouble out on the streets or tending to his flower garden, yoongi would rather much spend his times away from others. but that’s inevitable.

as if he’s waiting for someone, it looked like it from the bartender’s perspective. yoongi hums, reaching into his pocket for a cigar and taking out a lighter. however, he glances up to find a familiar young face. discarding the cigar away with the flick of his wrist, he smirks as he takes a sip. setting his drink down, he gestures to the hunter without an implication of fear in his icy, cyan colored eyes.

“hello again, taeyong. i’m guessing you got bored with your most wanted vampire so i’m your second choice for tonight.”

You could almost call it arrogance.

She had heard, multiple times, from many of her staff of the patron who walked in. The young man, seated at the bar, having a drink. They were nervous and she couldn’t fault him for that. Whispers that a hunter was in their midst always created whispers, but as she passed by each staff she urged them to keep working as normal. No sense in letting one person ruin the atmosphere of the whole place. Humans came here to have fun, and she had every intent to keep it that way for them.

So she’ll handle it herself. As she settles herself behind the bar, rolling up her sleeves, she notices right away that he’s hardly touched his drink. She flashes a tiny smile, a small curve of her lips as she gives him a polite greeting. With practiced gestures she takes a clean glass, drops a few ice cubes and fills it with water, being sure it’s all done where he can see (a good practice in general for any bartender, really) before she sets it in front of him.

“Long day? Or not to your taste?” She gestures towards the barely touched glass, condensation dripping on the outside, ice cubes starting to disappear. The receipt printer starts chugging away and she’s pulling the order slips from it, giving the youth another small smile as deft hands get to work.

“I can make you something else, or did you come here for another reason?”
