pro-tip: if someone constantly makes you uncomfortable on purpose then...

Just walk up to them and traumadump on them. Don't have to talk about anything that really happened just say something outlandish like "I watched a killer throw my parent off a 67 story building and I got traumatized" with a lot of gorey intense detail.

Now they're uncomfortable and you've just offloaded a bunch of stress onto someone whose feelings don't matter to you.

Top five insects?

ohhh hmm let's see (once again non-definitive in no particular order):

orchid mantis (Hymenopus coronatus) i meannn

old world swallowtail (Papilio machaon) just bc it's one of the prettiest things you can see around here and when i come across one it makes my day. though the same goes for Vanessa atalanta and their behavior is also cool

water scorpion (Nepa cinerea) i mean look at this guy

mammoth wasp (Megascolia maculata) i discovered these existed in general and in europe by coming across one far off in a flower and then flying straight at me and it was scary as hell bc they sound like an airplane when they fly and i wouldn't wanna come across another one unexpectedly, but the mix of shock, fear and fascination it caused was a cool feeling (in retrospect!) that i now tie to the species

madagascar giraffe weevil (Trachelophorus giraffa) bc it's simply one of the bugs of all time

honorable mention for all the Ichneumon wasps bc they're fascinating, and the swollen-thighed beetle (Oedemera nobilis) and Oedemeridae in general bc the females look like this and the males look like this
