Thought about the murder drones age regressor regularity - in MD, a good chunk of the characters either didn’t have a good childhood (Uzi with Khan, Doll and losing her parents) or didn’t have an opportunity to be a child at all (N V J & Cyn, who worked in a manor under people who would kill them without a second thought).
Maybe this has something to do with it - now that the stress and pressure isn’t all there, you & others are able to slip back into a childhood you weren’t able to have.
Idk tho. Just my random thoughts.

Tbh I didn't have much of a childhood irl, due mostly to being unable to remember any of it cause memory issues, and covid stealing a lot of years, so I spose thats just another way I'm like in canon x3
