Kairi was the absolute worst princess ever. She knew this because if she wasn’t, she wouldn’t have such a hard time being one. She was brash, stubborn, and always trying to weasel out of her work or “duties” (aka royal public appearances). Though she did know how to put on an appearance when needed, and she did have a few close friends she could be herself around it was still tiring. So much so that she had a vacation at every opportunity she got. Which was, admittedly, not many.
Or, as she called it, an adventure.
Kairi was quite proud of her lung capacity. Scuba diving was nice, but lengthy and cumbersome. She much preferred snorkeling, where she could lazily swim about on the surface and go diving to something that caught her eye. Unfortunately, this side of the tiny island wasn’t as colorful or interesting in the shallow parts, but she dove down occasionally regardless, treating this as a nice little warm up.
