@savepointed
Hey, Sans. Do you remember that time you jumped timelines and clipped through the floor? That was fun, wasn’t it? You’re lying, of course. Maybe you should thinking about where you’re “short-cutting” so that doesn’t happen again. Because floating down into the vast nothingness while the world above glitched out because you weren’t supposed to be down there wasn’t fun.
Alas, you appeared yourself back into the actual limits of this new world and-- er. Actually, you were still a bit off. Just a little too high. Enough so that you flailed in the air momentarily before falling face first into water. How do you fuck up so massively twice in a row? That’s gotta be a record of some kind.
You’re tempted to just lie here in this puddle for a bit. Think about what you did. Contemplate life.
Wasted.
How did you meet AD?
* thats a… long story
* …
* when monsters were first sealed under mt. ebott, there wasnt much for us to work with in terms of, you know, housing at the like. when we reached to what is now ‘waterfall’, everything was covered in garbage. we had a hell of a time cleaning it up.
* i was part of the team to help restore it to a somewhat habitable place.
* my methods were a little… ‘unconventional’ according to the head of the team
* when she told me to do it “her way”, i happened across a pile that barked at me. which, you know, hadnt exactly happened often.
* on top of the pile was a fluffy blue coat, so naturally, i lifted the hood to find the source of the noise.
* i found ad.
* i remember thinking to myself “why is there a dog here?” and looking at the waterfall wondering if a human had actually thrown a dog away down here.
* … but, i decided to have a little more faith than that. besides, ad comes and goes as he pleases.
* hes a smart dog. a little too smart, really, but i enjoy his company.

Frisk continued the hug, before grabbing a few pillows and blankets setting them up into a pillow fort. Gesturing Sans inside. He could bring whatever he wanted to bring inside and it would be warm and cozy and they didn’t mind standing guard if Sans needed a nap or some him time
You tried to compose yourself in the time that they built the fort, to not much avail. Everything felt awful. The usual numbness melted away and you only got to feel just how bad everything felt.
When they finished, however, you instead just brought them in for another hug, and this time around, you actually hugged them, instead of sitting there uselessly.
“Y’didn’t have to do all this...”
@blindedbylv
You really didn’t have much of a reason to jump universes or timelines anymore. Your own was pretty much handled. Perfect, you’d say. All the kid needed to do was finish. So why were you still observing others like there was something more you could do to ‘fix’ your own? Maybe it was just habit. Maybe it was just paranoia. Maybe it was Maybelline. Regardless, you were here.
You supposed it helped clear your mind. To see other timelines fail was just useful information for things to avoid. While successful timelines were... hard to watch.
@starsgivemehp
Whoa. Well, isn’t this just a sore sight for even sorer eye sockets. Was this another you? No, absolutely not. This mess already looked like he was trying too hard and you were the epitome of... well, not trying at all.
You’d give him the benefit of the doubt, anyway. Even if he was intruding in your universe. No need to openly be bitter. Right? Right.
“Hey there, buddy. I think you’re lost,” you offered. “Take a wrong short-cut?”
Mike took a quick, quiet breath as he stepped onto the elevator and rid it down to his new job, hands in his pockets as it reached the bottom and he stepped off, looking about the office he walked into. "Hm. Interesting, well, this oughta be something."
@universal-multimuse
All seemed quiet in the place, save for the soft humming of machines. It smelled strongly of pizza, which is not surprising considering that the pizza is popular here.
The HandyUnit, which usually greets the employees, is offline for some reason. Something about a bug.
Wait! Did something move in the left window?
