Arguable, yes. But to him, it couldn't be better.
Their leader, while not excessively strong or talented, is determined, thoughtful, kindhearted, and loyal. With a lot of room to grow. Jaune has so much potential, and they can all see it.
Pyrrha is their power house, a seasoned warrior and knows her stuff. But she's more than her fighting, well grounded and gives solid advice. She cares deeply and encourages people to do their best.
And then there's Nora. Nora, who he's known for what feels like forever, and yet she continues to surprise him. She's bouncy and cheery and affectionate. And he wouldn't have it any other way.
Sometimes, he wonders how he fits into the team. He knows he's stoic, seemingly unfeeling, and not very good with affection. But he tries, to build friendships with them
He can only hope it is working.
