           The man did not have to know Lecter’s TRUE identity; they would not become that close and if the young man did find out who the doctor was then he would be obligated to kill him. He was not taking anymore chances. He seemed HEALTHY enough if it did come down to having to get rid of him as well.

            Lecter mused beside the other, his eyes following the flow of color and lines of the work before them. He’d been an escapee for some time now, yet he constantly needed to be aware of his surroundings. STRANGERS did not concern him. It was the fools who may simply get lucky and discover who he was.

       He heard the footsteps approaching; they were too SLOW to be meant for him to hear. As they nearly reached him, Lecter’s hands struck out to grip their wrists and pin them to the wall with his teeth BARED. His grip did not lessen once he could look into their eyes.

       “I may be older than you but do NOT think that I am slower.”
