His fists tightened for just a moment. He was used to fear, he was used to curiosity, but not admiration. She seemed to speak about his actions with some sort of excited fascination. In his mind, that was strange. To him, hurting people was just what he did. It wasn’t something he had ever fantasized about, not something he wanted before he started doing it. To her, hurting people seemed like something to aspire to. It was entirely alien to him to think that way.
