yeah no i get that. i had a streak for jpnese vocab review for several weeks and then when my mental health dropped off so did that. and everything else. i still haven't finished the show i was watching for sentence practice and contextual comprehension :(

but dude. motivation ain't gonna get u nowhere. motivation is a feeling and feelings r uncertain. it's good to figure out a schedule when you do get that motivation, and then stick to it with DISCIPLINE. and reward urself for sticking to it, too!!

today i finally got to the first checkpoint in duolingo for finnish, still on 2nd for swedish as i dont rlly have time for it. applying to be a mental health advisor for a discord server so well see how that goes and i finally got some country flags!!

OHHH YES THE LANGUAGE JOURNEY !! making progress on duo is good !! i got so fucking far on french until i realized that duolingo is kinda trash (at least for my learning style) SO now i use other techniques but iT'S STILL A REALLY REALLLY GOOD PLACE TO GET STARTED. people who get fluent off of duolingo are scamming u. do you have any other ways to study languages? (PLS IM SO SORRY IM VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS SUBJECT TOO)

ooo ! a mental health advisor !! that sounds interesting !! i hope it's not something that's taken tooooo too seriously though, even if you've done extensive research or taken a psychology class without a degree u cannot actually give people professional help. and even psychologists cannot help people. gosh why do we have such similar interests though
