It was just a bit of fun, really. Loki rarely meant harm when she changed her appearance to another’s whilst in their presence. It was when she wasn’t around the impersonating the person elsewhere that they should worry. Perhaps if she would have thought about it more she wouldn’t have done it to Kurt of all people. 

She had originally been on the other side of the room, looking through his music collection, but in the blink of an eye, and a puff of green smoke, she disappeared from her spot and reappeared sitting beside him, a mirror image of the blue mutant. “Boo.”

“Vhy does no one ever knock anymore?” Kurt sighed and sat down on the floor next to her. He wondered sometimes if she even knew what she did to him, but then he always came to the conclusion that there was no way she had any interest in him or she was just toying with him. Either way he wouldn’t say anything. He liked having her around and didn’t want that to stop. “So do you like that record? Ve could play it if you like.”

Assuming his first question, she seemingly ignored it while still studying the record, though there a brief flicker of an amused smile on her lips. She finally glanced at him when he sat down beside her and decided  to reach down to run her fingers through his hair absently. “I wouldn’t know whether or not I like it. I do not pay too much attention to this realm’s music. Is it any good?”

Loki had been in one of her more unpleasant moods for the majority of the week. She had lost count of the amount of times she had snapped at anyone who tried to speak with her, and although she knew most of them did not deserve it, but at the moment she couldn't exactly care. 

Finally, when the work day was over, Loki found herself peacefully alone in the elevator. At least until Aiden had joined her. She refused to make small talk, or even look in his general direction; she highly doubted he'd have anything kind to say to her anyway had the whispers and gossip spreading around the office had gotten to her. She was prepared to just walk out of the elevator the moment it hit the lobby, but unfortunately for them the elevator jerked suddenly between the sixth and fifth floor, and then stopped completely with the lights going out.

"You have to be fucking kidding me," she muttered under her breath.

Seraphina released a scream, The scream was one of pure fear, and reached a volume Sera's voice rarely did. she ran to her sister. "Frigga!" She called out to her before checking if she were still alive.

The usually energetic and talkative young woman lay still, and unresponsive to her sister. Her eyelids were closed, and she looked paler than usual, which for once wasn’t the fault of her dark, messy hair.
