im autistic. being autistic is a part of who i am, and many other autistic people feel the same. if you took away our autism, we wouldnt be the same person as when we had autism. autism doesnt need a "cure" because its not a disease or sickness, its a different way our brains developed. we dont need to be "cured", we need to be accepted and respected as people
