Fairytales of New York

It's their first Jul/Christmas together, which Loki has looked forward to so they can share their cultures' celebrations. The cottage is half-decorated already, the god of mischief working on some of the trimmings when a news report from the American channel he's selected catches his attention.

“Surrounding circumstances are that we will be paying debts, more likely I will, and that we will be in a position to do so. It suggests there will be people in need who we can assist.”

“There may be some business hiccups so there needs to be patience. Another interpretation could be that we will get where we want to be so long as we can guide each other.”

The rune he conjures is one that resonates with him across the timelines, even though he hasn’t come to learn it - Jera.  “Hope for the future, reward for our efforts. Time and creativity.” There is also a heavy connection with the concept of harvest and having children. Another meaning he keeps to himself. For now, but perhaps not for too long.

when searching for a specific type of are to set up a fortress i saw a "spirit" option, but i couldn't find anything about it in google or the wiki when i searched. do you happen to know what that parameter means? is it the new way of checking for like, places that raise the undead or something?

In find embark the categorisation for Good v Evil biomes is called Spirit. It used to just be called Evil.

Selecting "Evil" will cause the game to search for embarks which are "aggressive". They rain blood and slime and sometimes raise the dead.

Selecting "Good" will cause the game to search for embarks which are supernaturally nice. There are fluffy wamblers, feather trees and whipvines and unicorns.
