Loki looks at her hand and gives a laugh that is impossible to differentiate between apologetic or patronising, except for the fact of who he is talking to. He really has nothing to apologise for to this woman. He should kill her if it weren't that it were someone else's right. Helping Ravonna won't make Sylvie happy, and she has shed blood in far crueller a fashion than even he has, but this isn't about honouring Sylvie. This is about Mobius and taking a leaf out of his book.
"I'm not strictly here right now, but in a sense I'm everywhere. If I touched you, you would feel it, but it wouldn't be real." He looks up and points to the distant gleaming branches of time that now illuminate the sky. "That. That is real. I have made this, and this realm that was once your employer's, your once partner's? It's mine."
He holds a hand up and twists as if turning an invisible screw. Alioth recedes across the landscape and then the storm seems to pause in time.
"Why don't we have a chat?"
His palms turn to the sky and lift, glowing green. Around them a cottage forms, crafted from the countless atoms of Void matter, the only place he has such power. He makes two comfortable chairs and a coffee table between them, a tea and coffee set laid out ready for the sampling.
Loki sits and folds his arms.
