Damon sat at the edge of Elijah's bed. His chin was in his hand, blue eyes focused on his fiance's face. They'd been drinking, they'd argued and Elijah had left in a fury. He had left and gotten in a car accident and now... now... It was Damon's fault. It was all Damon's fault and he hated himself ten times over. Twenty-four years old and he was going to, essentially, become a widower. He hated it. He hated himself; and he wouldn't let them pull the plug. It'd been two weeks since the accident and he'd refused to let anyone touch the life support machine.
He rubbed his face, a strangled sob came out of him. He remembered when he met Elijah four years prior; the feeling he had gotten the moment he'd seen him, the moment they talked and the moment they touched. He recalled their first kiss, so full of passion and desperation... and now he was losing it. Losing the only good thing he'd ever had in his life. He choked. Another sob came out of Damon. he buried his face into the end of the bed by Elijah's feet.
"I DIDN'T MEAN ANY OF IT! I DIDN'T MEAN A GODDAMN WORD!" He shouted angrily to the room. "WAKE UP! WAKE UP GOD FUCKING DAMN IT!" He slammed his fists into the bed and looked up towards Elijah, who wasn't moving. He choked another sob out. "PLEASE! END MY SUFFERING AND WAKE UP! I LOVE YOU!" He screamed. He walked around to the side of the bed and shook Elijah's body furiously. "WAKE UP! WAKE. UP!" He let go and crumpled to his knees, burying his face against Elijah's side.
"Please... please.... please..." He pathetically begged.
He walked back over then grabbed him by the cheek and kissed him again, this time moving forward to shove him back against the wall in a blur - and his tie was gone.
Elijah made a sound against his mouth, pulling his body close as he kissed him. Caught off guard, he couldn't help but enjoy it.
He waved his hand over his shoulder. "Yep. That's it. Carry on, my King."
Elijah raised a brow at this and laughed some, shaking his head. "I feel like I should be wearing a crown."
He grabbed him by the cheek and kissed him on the lips. "Carry on."
"Is that it?" he smirked a little and watched him go on.
"Eliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiijahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
