@lumenouastarters​ Vada was making her way home from seeing one of her clients. They didn’t live far from her in Kings Hill and the walk hadn’t been bad there, but it had gotten hotter since she left home. She luckily didn’t have to much equipment to worry about but a break was definitely needed. She sat down on a bench and watched the different people walk by, chuckling at a little girl asking her mother several questions, she smiled at the person that sat next to her, “how many questions you think she’s asked since they left home?”

Vada hadn’t dressed up for anything in some time and walking into the party only made her brows raise. “This isn’t like the parties we used to go to at all.” She chuckled remember the beer pong tournaments and typical immaturity, along with the cookouts and other more adult settings they had been around at times before Remi came along.​ “I’m not gonna lie. I feel kind of out of place but I do see a few faces I know if you have people you want to go talk to?” Her brows raising as she juggled the little gift she had brought for Logan, the only twin she knew of the pair. It wasn’t anything much but it felt like something Logan might enjoy it.

“Oh, hey. I didn’t expect to see you here.” She chuckled as Remi broke free from her hand and headed over to hug Nia. She shook her head before looking down at her phone and sighing, “shit... we were hanging out today. I forgot. I’m so sorry. You haven’t been waiting long outside here right?” She said opening the door to the apartment building and letting Remi lead the way up. “She was begging to go to the park and considering how rainy it’s been lately I couldn’t deny it myself. I hope I didn’t have you waiting to long, Nia.”

She had lost Alden in the mass of bodies but had seen Alex across the way in her moment of wall hugging. Her brows rose when she finally made it to him and brought him a drink as well as her own. “Hi. I uh.. I didn’t really know what you drank but they are passing champagne flutes around like crazy.” Her brows pulled together as she handed it to him and nodded, “I saw you over here and you’re about the only person I know besides a few others, plus I’m not completely used to the setting. I’m getting there though.” She joked holding up her flute, “you been okay since the fiasco of summer camp? I’m sleeping better if that counts for anything.” She joked smiling at him.​

Vada had been in need of a good girl’s night and though she knew Remi enjoyed Imani being around, having her spending time with Alden opened up all kinds of possibilities for the two ladies. She smiled as she met Imani down stairs and chuckled, “So, what’s the plan tonight? You got me all to yourself the whole night. Remi is staying with Alden for the night. So I’m into whatever you want to drag me into.”

She hadn’t expected the blonde to drop by again after helping her find her apartment and getting her settled in she figured that would be it. A kind deed from a kind person, she was still unpacking the small things she hadn’t quite got to when she heard the knock at the door. She answered it expecting it to be her neighbor but the familiar blonde stood in front of her again, “Logan? I didn’t expect you back.” She smiled and stepped out of the way opening the door wider, “come in, the place doesn’t echo as much anymore now that we’ve got pretty much moved in.”

It was proving to be a restless night with Remi. Mostly because she was already asleep and flailing around the small bed they were sharing in the cabin. She was sitting up with the little girl’s head in her lap trying to find a comfortable sitting situation to sleep in when she noticed Alex was still awake. Her brows pulled together and her voice was just above a whisper, “You okay? Can’t sleep either huh? I have to admit these are definitely not the best sleeping situations but it was a lot easier to get her to sleep than normal. Everything wore her out today.” ​

​Vada made no point to compete, she wasn’t a competitor but having Remi there to watch Alden made it pretty entertaining. She was like a little cheerleader during the capture the flag event. She was cheering as he came over and Vada was laughing at her as she ran away seeing how sweaty Alden was after competing. The little girls screaming laughter spread to Vada and she shook her head at Alden, “if you catch her she’s gonna slide right out of your grip as sweaty as you are.” She said from her spot on the ground watching them. “She’s really enjoying this, probably should have done something like this for her sooner.”
