Oh! my fave is silent hill 4! I just love how intriguing the main antagonist's backstory is and how experimental with not only the first person view but with the whole game!
My second fave is silent hill 2 remake bc HOLY HELL the sound design, the detailed environment, and just the additions to the main story is so interesting that made all the characters felt more relatable and so humanistic. Also, I've haven't felt genuine seating-on-edge fear during Angela's Otherworld part 🥶
