over time, i’ve grown to really enjoy ota’s season 1...he’s always loved mc with all his heart, he’s just absolutely awkward when it comes to expressing it in the earlier seasons 😭😭

Ok so I know your a big Ota Stan so imma assume you’ve read season 4? and I’ve recently fallen in love with him too, but I really can’t afford to buy his season 4 where MC tells him she’s pregnant and I sooooo want to know what his reaction is like and I can’t find it on YouTube. Could u tell me what that scene was like please ? Thank you so much
season 4 has really great character development for him imo! his pov has his reaction, so if that’s a bit easier to get, i’d recc it!
that being said, a bit of his reaction has to do with the plot :0 (apologies, i haven’t played it in a bit so this might be a bit vague 😔
iirc, in the story, ota and eisuke make a deal: if ota sells a piece that reaches a certain amount of money, eisuke would teach ota business. (since ota wanted to start a business to help other artists!) however, in the story, ota breaks his arm protecting mc. unable to make the painting, ota makes the decision to go his house in newyork with mc for a while
in the airport, mc tells ota that she’s pregnant. he realizes that to be a good father, he has to take responsibility and do what he must to create a stable life for mc and his baby...! so, he makes the decision to fly back with mc to create the painting, even if his arm is broken
one thing i forgot about the prologue is that mc’s first impression of ota is that he’s gorgeous, or like a porcelain doll to specific
it’s a very specfic comparison, which i like very much...i might have to do something with that/keep that in mind for later
it’s a nice touch: mc was first stunned by ota’s beauty, and then ota was stunned by mc’s beauty when she was in the cage
A small parallel I really liked between Ota’s S6 and S1 POV!
In Ota’s S6 POV, Ota mentioned being able to tell whenever someone was in love with him. However, a good portion of his S1 POV was Ota worrying if MC felt the same way he did.
I find it really sweet that Ota was so nervous about how MC felt about him. I think it really shows how worked up he got when he first fell for MC!
