“ I’ve noticed you watching me.    That must be terribly dull. ” 

Reyson hadn’t been with the company long and was finding it difficult to adjust despite his experience. Compared to the others, the heron had very little to do while at camp. He watched them train and tend to their weapons mostly, their dedication serving as motivation in spite of his incompetence with such things. Instead, Reyson tended to wander.

It hadn’t taken him long to realize he was being observed and by now he was certain it was for more than just the wings. Strange as it may seem, it did make for a convenient opening to approach the other man. His physique alone made him stand out — nevermind the axe he typically carried.
