She always enjoyed watching her mama dance. Her papa had told her it was when he fell in love with her, and she could see why. Many people seemed to fall in love with her mama when she danced. Siggy tended to hang back in the crowd, not liking the attention herself. But when her mama makes her way over to her, taking her hands and pulling her up to her feet Siggy has little chance to protest.
She focused on her mama, ignoring everyone else as they twirled and hopped about. It was easier to dance careless if she didn’t think anyone but her mama was there.
