- scar and grian are coworkers

- pearl and scar are oomfs on twitter, even before scar met grian. Pearl is an artist and Scar is a big yumetwt account. They don't rlly interact with each other though, only follows each other and occasionally like and comment. But its funny to know that pearl and scar are oomfs before grian even met scar 😭😭

- grian starts doing oshikatsu with scar when they discover that they're both a yumeshipper. He finally made a yumetwt account after like a couple months of scar convincing him to make one. Scar starts interacting with him a lot & tags him in his nuikatsu double date pictures

- i think it would be funny if one day a scar and grian twitter interaction gets a hit tweet. Pearl sees the hit tweet and found it funny so he sends it to grian and grian starts having heart attacks because he thought he's been found out (he's STILL trying to keep his yumeship a secret from Pearl).

- season 2 of GIGS gets announced and everyone is so excited to watch it!! What nobody expected in the new season was for there to be... tension??? Among mr wizard and max blunder??? The first season didnt really have any of these, only establishing group dynamics & friendships, so everyone started going insane when wizmax?? Is getting subtle homoerotic action?? A lot of queerbait accusation starts flying at this point.

- Grian and scar is in denial at first, they're like "yeah bros do this all the time" only for it to crash down the more episodes come out and yeppppppp last episode has a canon confirmed wizmax romance scene (either a confession or a kiss scene up to you). Everyone goes crazy about it. Wizmax stocks goes on an exponential high. Scar and grian's jaws drop. Their f/os.... are dating each other...?!!?? My fictional boyfriend is dating your fictional boyfriend???!!! You can kinda picture yourself how crazy their twitter timeline is.

- anyway, their weekly nuikatsu double dates gets kinda awkward now because why the hell is your mr wizard nui has his hands all over my max blunder nui... why are our nuis looking at each other like that....

- the two of them are kinda a bit traumatized at their f/o "cheating" on them with the other's f/o... but then when they start re-watching clips and looking at fanart they're like. "Wait... why is this kinda just like me and grian... WAITTTT... that's literally grian" and then their yumeshipping slowly turns into projecting. And then one day scar starts asking grian if he wanna discord rolaplay wizmax and everything goes downhill from there

How was their early days of interacting? Has Scar ever use to sing for Grian during the early days before humanity?

Early day Grian gets overwhelmed a lot, especially with his sense of sight, so he likes to hide in tight, dark crevices. He doesn't like being lonely, but the world is just a bit too much. Scar's company however, is just right. He sings the loveliest tunes that soothes his senses. Grian can close all his eyes and in that moment, nothing else matters except for his voice.

Most of my notes/doodles of this au are scattered all over the place and I can't find them no matter how hard I search. It's kinda driving me insane 😭 but I'll try my best to write down what I do remember!

Grian, Scar, Jimmy, and Tango have their own symbols. Grian is an apple, like the fruit of good and evil from the garden of eden in the story of creation.. It is the symbol of indulgence and the first event that led humanity down to worldly temptation. Scar is a trumpet, which references Beleth of ars goetia, the demon which sometimes takes the form of a cat playing a trumpet, and also referencing the pied piper of hamelin who led kids away with his pipe. Jimmy is wine, mostly based on biblical values where wine is often used in varying contexts (good in the blood of Christ, good in celebration, bad in drunkenness, etc.). Tango is a sheep 🐏 he is an “innocent person who needs guidance”

Grian is a very silly character because unlike other angels who dislike the worldly temptations, he's VERY into fun. His whole character revolves around the idea of fun. He has so many injuries because he’s a thrill seeker who always gets himself in bizarre scenarios that he thinks is remotely exciting (like free falling from a cliffside). The other angels can’t really do much about him because of his unfortunately, very high rank. He is heaven’s little Nepo baby 😭😭😭 Since they can't get rid of him or fix him, the next best thing is to send him on a mission to earth. It’s a win-win because Grian can kill a whole bunch of saints for them, while he gets to play with guns.

Extra note on the Grian situation. Angels treat demons sorta like cockroaches and earth like a supply closet. They have a lot of important things they need to grab from the supply closet (saints), but they’re all too grossed out to deal with the icky cockroach infestation. So they deploy this crazy 8 year old kid who is also icky gross and eats mud (Grian), gives him a bunch of brooms and bug sprays, and hopes for the best as they wait for results in the next room over.

Scar’s real form is a little kitty cat while Grian’s is a giant snake (also based on Garden of Eden with the demon as the snake. But it's funny cuz Grian is the angel. It's also doubly funny cuz Scar irl HATES snakes. Idk I thought it's silly). You can kinda see it in the little comic thing I made… the first panel is them!! :3 Before humanity was born, angels and demons were sorta like neighbors. They’re not buddies, but they have no reason to start killing each other. In this era, Grian and Scar talks to each other a lot <3 they stopped seeing each other when the war started (where angels and demons try to get as many humans on their sides).

After the war had died down a bit, Scar decided to leave hell to hang out on earth!! Atp, demons are starting to move residence to earth. He loves Earth's nature ❤️ he starts singing in towns, and that's when Lizzie (the owner of Sinner's Bar) finds him and gets him to sing for Sinner’s Bar.

Grian (who got kicked out from heaven basically), finally meets Scar again and he’s DOWN BADDDD. He would literally do anything Scar says he’s such a disgusting freakkkkk.

Anyway, Grian is very big on fun. He sees Sinner’s Bar as the epitome of fun, so he respects this place and everyone in it (Scar being a performer here also helps ofcourse). Which is why it's a neutral zone for saints like Tango to stay. Grian will NOT do anything as long as Tango is inside of the bar. If he steps out, then it's free real estate.

Tango is just sorta forced to work or at least hang out in the bar now for the majority of his time if he doesn’t wanna get killed. Jimmy tries really hard to convince Tango to be a sinner, but he’s REALLY struggling with it because he’s kinda like the opposite of Grian 💀 Jimmy is personally very unsubscribe to sin. He’s a good boy with a good heart and whenever he tries to tempt Tango, he fails miserably. He tries to get him to start being an alcoholic by drinking with him, but he takes one shot and immediately blanches, making Tango blanch along with him. He tries to make him a gambling addict but they start spinning the wheel and IMMEDIATELY get incredibly bored, ending up playing Decked Out together and going to bed at exactly 10 pm. He tries to make Tango a glutton by cooking him a bunch of food for him to eat, but they end up eating their delicious, reasonable amount of dinner together before stopping when they see Grian beside them gobbling the entire thing up and getting too grossed out to continue anymore with their own food. Every single one of his indoctrination attempts just turns into a glorified date BASICALLY.

Joel is the cook and he sees everything going on with Jimmy and Tango and is like “?? WHAT ARE YOU DOING??” and Jimmy is just stressed about it “I DONT KNOWWW 😭😭😭”

LITTLE TEENY TINY BIT ABOUT GEMPEARL: they’re both demons!! Gem is a higher rank demon (like an aristocrat). Pearl is lower rank (commoner) and works with Grian to gather information for him, but she low-key kinda hates him 😭 …. Welll…. TBH ….. everyone (except Scar cuz he's a freak) kinda hates Grian to some extent LOLL

for tsdau can grian actually transform into the weird small baby thing? or is it purely a style choice on ur part? or counter offer, scar keeps making these weird plushies of grian and placing them everywhere.

It started off as a joke but I've actually grown so attached to the thang I actually tried really hard to include him in the plot somehow 😭 unfortunately, the story for divorce is mostly already set and I just don't know how to integrate Grian being able to change into the little thang form without it being a bit off or even borderline plot-hole-y 😭 so no, Grian can't canonically change into the thang even though I REALLY wanted him to 💔 maybe as a curse in a spin-off he gets to be turned into the thang as a treat, but it's not gonna be a central plot point 😔

BUT AS A COMPENSATION !!!! I've decided to take my friend's advice and turn him into a little plushie!!! This one scene ended up being cut out from the fic cuz... I though the flow of the writing didn't really support it, but I ended up drawing it a few months ago as a little bonus :3 this is right after the scene on the fic where Grian and Timmy first met! In the fic, Grian told Timmy that he'd make him a stuffie (as a bribe to make him stay), and this convo is basically the continuation to that
