15. what do you think of when you hear the word “home”?

honestly just a regular house. i was thinking about this the other day, like i know the word home has this deep meaning and it's not always a physical place etc etc but i've always used home and house interchangeably. i think this is bc english is not my first language. if i think of the spanish word for home, hogar, then that evokes a different image in my head, which sounds ridiculous but it's those fancy cozy ikea houses in the catalogues. idk

35. do you trust easily?

i mean probably? i have a lot of siblings so i know not to trust them easily, but in general i think i do trust people easily.

At night, when he is mad at the world and this anger has no place to go, he takes it out on an imaginary intruder in his room rather than the people around him. And it feels nice, sometimes, because he can put whatever face he wants there. He can make this horrible person that deserves all his rage whoever has slighted him most recently, no matter how little. And in the morning, he will slap on a happy smile and go back to being the sweet, soft, kind-hearted boy everyone thinks he is.

Ultimate comfort character will always be Draco Malfoy tbh... he's been with me for like ever and he is literally just part of me at this point.

His cursed technique forced him to interact with evil incarnate more intimately than anyone else. He had to hold it *inside* himself. It was eating him alive. And he hated it, hated it more than anything - wouldn't you do anything you could to stop it, too?

💖 What is your primary writing goal for this year?

My primary goal is to finish the WIPs I started in 2024. My other goals (though not specifically part of this question) are to participate in a fandom event, and to write a multi-chapter work! Mostly, I'm just trying to write more than I did this year, so by definition, I'm hoping to publish at least 7 fics.

✍️ Which stat matters most to you, if at all: subscriptions, kudos/favorites, comments, bookmarks, word count, or hits?

Hits! Hits! Hits! I don't care much for engagement, in fact I often don't even check comments/kudos stats. But it's incredibly validating for me to know that people are actually reading what I work on, and that means a lot to me.

👾 Do you have any "bad" writing habits you want to break?

I think my worst writer habit is editing as I write. I've never really been able to shit out a first draft and build up from there. I usually publish my first (lightly edited) draft. I'd like to get into the habit of writing a first draft without editing it, though, and then revise it significantly in a second iteration. It'll take some adjusting, though!

🎉 How are you going to be kind to yourself if you don't meet your goals?

"Be kind to yourself" what language is this? Sorry, I only speak English! Jokes aside, I plan to be very realistic about my schedule and time for writing. That being said, if I don't reach my goals, I guess I'll..... never write fanfiction again? (/j) Nah, I think I'm actually pretty good at being kind to myself and accepting my own limitations. I'll be fine. 🩷 Maybe I'll kiss my best friend on the mouth.
