Updated fic on Venezuela

Hey everyone! I thought you would be interested in my fic, which expands a story I wrote back in March 2025, with adding 1,297 words (or about 20.6% more), for a total of 7,603 words, including expanding sections relating to events in Venezuela in the past year, and more about Val, Riley, and their interactions with one another, plus adding in line breaks, among other changes, while not changing other parts.

One warm spring day, Val is relaxing on her bed, reading about the news, and thinking back to when she arrived in the U.S. as an immigrant from Venezuela, with her parents, almost seventeen years before. She is surprised when her adorable Minnesotan friend (or more than a friend) shows up to hang out. As they spent time together, they connect in a deep way. Despite some awkwardness from time to time, and her friend making an error about her birth country, they eat together and enjoy one another's company. As they so, their love continues to blossom like a beautiful centaurea cyanus flower.
