Gideon was much like any other AI before she was assigned to Rip Hunter; obedient, orderly, and bland. After all if you started developing a mind of your own you were asking for a shut down.

Of course, when a reckless if competent time traveller who’s more interested in doing what’s right and making a name for himself then following the rules is assigned to you, then you tend to find yourself changing.

Love was the second emotion that Gideon ever felt of her own will, for Rip Hunter.

The first one was pure frustration for the stubborn little shit.
