Saya herself is underwhelming with her combat moveset for a main antagonist and The Heavy Climax Boss for Project X Zone 2. To the point even Sheath has a better moveset that says I will destroy you.
Here's the thing, all of the boss units are the same unit as they have the same one special attack & one multi attack & that's everyone of them, from Metal Face, M. Bison, Dural, the Aragami & more I can say there's no room for them actually being fleshed out units that actually differentiate each other & the one that does stand out was Sigma since he can get rid of your XP but that barely does anything given how brain dead easy this series is, you can instantly gain that back by fighting one enemy unit like that's not a challenge, Valsion aka Bian from Super Robot Wars OG knows how to put the fear of god in me with how much of a monster his mech was with his extremely powerful laser attack & the strategy for me is to waste his energy with units that can dodge his attack, same with Selvaria from Valkyria Chronicles as she was described as a "War Witch" & her Valkur powers were something I was afraid of but when I fight her later on without her power, she was still a beast with her overpowered gun & the best strategy I can provide is using the tanks as big walls to block her attacks as the units attack Selvaria while she's distracted in trying to destroy the tanks that of course Project X Zone 1 would rather ignore what made her unique in origin & make her the same boss unit, heck y'know what? Mega Man Battle Network 5's Liberation Missions, a sidemode at best designed for little kids understands the concept of a SRPG better than a Namco, Capcom & Sega crossover by Monolith Soft & Banpresto that they likely wasted so much money on making, which btw that's not a knock again BN5, it's in my Top 5 favorite RPGs besides Mega Man Star Force 3 but the fact an RPG designed for a much younger audience knows how an SRPG works unlike the epic grand crossover they wasted millions on is impressive how the Project X Zone series dropped the ball
