[Bd-handystand] "Excuse me, do you know where I could find a doctor?" -if the senses of the vampire are like that of the werewolves, he would surely smell the odor of death upon this boy...a sad scent for a possible free meal upon your doorstep...-

You don’t need a werewolf nose to smell the specific and all too familiar smell of this fine fellow right here. Not very appetizing either, since the vampire mostly preferred young and lively folk for dinner.

“Why a doctor? I’d say, with the way you look, a mortician is a more correct bet…“

There seem to be a lot more vampires around recently, where have you all come from? (dailykars)

Fugo made the decision to keep his sass down, as he felt that he was speaking to a vampire much older than he is.

“Well, I was traveling around the world up until just recently, when I came back to greet my partner who awoke from his one hundred year rest. So we were here for at least about that long. 

I suppose this occurance might also be due to the very intense full moon. I hear lots of other undead creatures are feeling either heavily tortured or extremely vitalized by it. They all feel restless and come out of their hiding.“

A hooded person walks down some cold, untended stairs. Only a lantern in hand to guide them on their way. The air is heavy and still, it’s almost suffocating. 

No human has attended this place in a very long time...

Upon entering the chamber, the person speaks:

“My friend, are you awake? I’m sure I arrived on the right time to greet you.“

“...!!“

“Amaretti! You really are awake already! I hope I didn’t make you wait!“

The person took off his hood, revealing himself as a young vampire. This one had only been an undead creature of the night for about a hundred years. 

“I have so much to tell you, I can barely hide my excitement. Let’s go hunting together right away! You need to get your strength back after your slumber.“

He’s been waiting for his maker to wake up from his long nap, training his skills in being a vampire and studying the changes of the world around him, enjoying his new immortal body more and more with every year. Now he wants to share the news of his success with his closest friend and maybe even with some other people. 

However, he would be quite hesitant in talking about his mortal life. But it’s worth a try to ask, if you’re interested enough...

How did you and Amaretti meet?? He turned you? Did you want to?

“Ah… That certainly is something that I make sure to remember even a century after. Yes, Amaretti is, indeed, my maker. 

I was very different back then, lived a very unhappy life. I was abused from childhood. I belonged to other people and had to do ugly things for them just to earn a few coins. 

Then I was struck with a deadly disease. A highly contagious one. I was no longer of use to my masters and no other person was willing to stay by my side while I was already counting down days until my imminent death. 

I already gave up on myself when Amaretti appeared in my miserable life and shone bright as a ray of hope upon me…“

“…he told me, but to be fair I never really had a choice either. 

I didn’t want to die without ever getting to actually live. I wanted to run away somewhere far, I wanted to see the world, I wanted to taste what freedom was like.

So… He was the one who gave me a second chance. He stayed by my side to teach me about my new life. And… Even after I changed drastically, he still respected and supported me…

You should know that my gratitude and loyalty to him is eternal.“
