Kuro wasnt one to hide things from his partner but some secrets are to great and to terrifying to share. Kuro has long suspected they were hiding something from him as well so he never pushed it.

He suspected they were the same as him, nocturnal occasionally gone for hours during the night. Kuro was a fairly young vampire and didn't quite excell in hiding it. He wasnt sloppy but he figured older supernatural creatures could tell.

When kuro went out with his friends to a local vampire club he had never expected to find his partner there. After his moment of shock he tried to hide but he knew they saw him and the questions would come either here or at home. The thing he hoped didnt come was a fight.

Vampire’s requiem

the vampire stood at the fresh grave of the human he’d spent time with. He knew humans were fragile and didn't live long but he found himself angry. Angry for reasons he couldn't place. He’d heard the humans speak of this human with sorrow. This human who had been feed for him. He recognized the sound of another approaching. “Why should i play this game of pretend? Remembering through a second hand sorrow, such a great son and wonderful friend.;oh dont the tears just poor? I could curl up and hide in my room, There in my bed, still sobbing tomorrow. I could give in to all of the gloom for the first time in my immortal life, but tell me, what for?” he glanced over his shoulder “Why should I have a heavy heart? Why should I start to break in pieces? Why should I go and fall apart for him? Why should I play the grieving boy and lie Saying that I miss him and that my world has gone dark without his light?” to those who’d been around long enough it was clear that kuro was upset, that he did miss the human and the light had gone.
