I got super into Bubble yesterday it’s so good, i made some designs for the characters

Just kinda curious where you based your character designs for bubble
Ok so since there are not a lot of canon descriptors for really anyone, I had to improvise a lot. I’ll go through them one by one
Morgan: so for Morgan I made sure that she had her trusty fanny pack, since that’s really the only part of her clothes that are consistent. I gave her a unique haircut so it was plausible that Eli could mistake someone with Morgan’s haircut as her. I also made her pretty tall, since that was another thing that Eli said to Thalia.
Annie: for Annie, we have even less vis a vis physical characteristics. So I gave her dyed hair so that she has a noticeable feature for doing her drug deals. Also she has half lidded eyes bc let’s be real, she’s probably high 89% of the time.
Mitch: so for Mitch we had a few descriptors. It was said that he has even love handles, and is moderately attractive. So I grabbed those and I threw them onto my design, but then also took some liberties. I headcanon that the morning after Mitch got The Sting he woke up, and Danny Phantom style, his eyes where two completely different colours (they were brown before) and he had streaks in his hair. I did this bc it was said that imp venom can make you mutate, and I wanted that to manifest physically as well as through his powers.
Van: Van was probably the easiest. He looks good in a man bun, and he wears brightly coloured tank tops and shirts. I also made it so that he had unnaturally coloured eyes and sharper teeth bc I headcanon that if you were born in the brush by parents who were there for a long time you develop some small abnormal traits, like strangely coloured eyes and sharper teeth. That is also why I gave Morgan violet eyes and why Bonnie has normal eyes.
Bonnie: for Bonnie, I had grabbed a lot of traits from her voice actor. I made her hair a braid bc even though it would be a lot more business like to have a bun, I already gave Van a bun so she got a braid.
