Vaniels won the last poll, but the other options hadn't been mentioned in it and the post also hadn't been tagged with them because I hadn't been aware of them yet, so it would be unfair to the people who like those versions and wouldn't have seen the poll in the search results... So here's another one to make it fair :)

Just goes to show that deciding on one shipname would be quite helpful for the fandom, not just to name my new blog but also so everyone knows what to tag and what to look for, without having to check so many name combinations it's hard to remember them all!

It was a close thing in the end between Avorah and AvaDeb, but while AvaDeb currently seems to be used a bit more frequently on tumblr, Avorah has also been tagged a lot, and is apparently the most popular option on other sites - and it won the poll of course!

Why decide on a shipname at all?

First of all, to name this blog! I'll try to collect all art and edits of the two, if you have any I haven't reblogged yet, feel free to send them over/ @ the blog, if someone wants to help mod, just send an ask!

But also, it's a lot easier to find new posts when everyone uses the same shipname, so you won't have to enter ten or more variations until you're sure you've seen all posts! So it's clever both for those of us who just want to look at and reblog them, and for the artists it's of course neat to know which tag will get most people to look at their posts!

You can of course still use other shipnames in your posts and use other tags as well and no-one can be forced to use a particular tag at all, but using #Avorah as one of the searchable tags (20 tags per tumblr post) on posts you make for the ship would be cool :)

Deborah was so much more than just a friend or girlfriend to her. A partner, without even adding the romantic sense of that word to their relationship. And now she was pushing Ava out of her life, leaving her to be as lonely and miserable as before she met her, except even more so because now she knew what she was missing, how much better it could be, so was it really surprising that she felt like drowning?

You can just send me your own prompt, or if you like pick something from one of the prompt lists I've reblogged, just be sure to mention which list it's from or just send me the entire copied prompt instead of just the number, that's easiest for me :) also pls make sure to mention the ship in your ask!
