Also, while I was watching that goal compilation video, it reminded me of the two hatties that Connor and Mack scored for the 2025-26 season.
The first ones less than a week apart, and the second ON THE SAME NIGHT.
I know the press were asking them both questions about how that felt and if they were keeping track of each other and whatnot, and their answers were basically “Well, he’s my buddy, and a great player, so of course I’m happy for him too”, but seriously- how cool would that of been for them?!
I just love watching both these guys and their teams play, and I wish we could see them play against each other more throughout the season.
(now excuse me while I hope, wish, pray that both teams make play-offs)
So, I’m watching the latest goal compilation from the Blackhawks and NHL channels on YouTube, and it’s not like I’ve forgotten how fucking good Connor Bedard is or anything…
But fuck, man. He is just there for everything. I swear, if he’s on the ice during a goal then he’s either scoring, on the assist, protecting space, or there for the tidy up if it bounces wrong or gets deflected. And that last point is true whether he is the one shooting the puck, or if it’s someone else on the team.
He really is incredible at reading the play and what’s happening on the ice, and I feel like people who aren’t Blackhawks fans forget that or refuse to acknowledge it because he didn’t get as many points as Macklin Celebrini this past season, and everyone just seems hellbent on pitting the two against each other.
I know we still have roughly 7 weeks until first puck drop; 5.5 if you count preseason games. And potentially another month on top of that before Bedard returns from his shoulder injury…
But, I am truly so excited to watch him play again. Along with the rest of my beloved team, of course.

and to this i raise you, fraser minten freezing at the sight of connor bedard fucking himself while wearing his jersey. he cannot tear his eyes away for even a second, but he can't get himself to reach into his pants and do anything either. though it ends with him not having to, since he cums not long after hearing connor moan his name.
the concept of Connor’s friends (especially Naz) not understanding how Fraser, this teddy bear lookin baby Bruin who wears glasses and plays piano, is the TOP IN THIS RELATIONSHIP? and then they’re all in one place for some reason— maybe it’s a bar after their teams play each other or maybe it’s over the summer. and they see the way Connor and Fraser behave around each other. and they’re like yeah. Yeah that makes sense now
this this this ^^ they’re out at a bar in boston and connor’s teammates are all observing as he looks up at fraser while gripping onto his shirt and fraser leans down and kisses him sweetly on the forehead, or they’re watching as connor is almost curled up in fraser’s lap at the booth the group of them are at. fraser would be the one to order food for connor at the bar as he just sits next to fraser like he couldn’t do it himself, and the guys are watching that too, surprised that connor’s normal confidence is seemingly m.i.a. at the moment. fraser’s the one to guide connor through the crowd with a hand on his waist or saying “speak up, baby” softly when connor’s not talking loud enough for everyone to hear over the music playing. fraser has this effortless dominance over connor, the guys notice, and it’s not any less surprising than they thought it’d be.
