Last year this day.
Last year, this day I promised my self that I’d post at-least once a week, I kept my word, but for two months ....... what happened? life, I moved 3 cities, 2 countries and head an emotional breakdown (twice) and now in the beautiful Vancouver, with as little as no fiends, I dated, seriously and not-so-seriously and have currently called off on dating men (yes, I’m queer, SURPRISE,not) because of time, physical and mental health (details will follow, since I think I’m ready to talk about them, anonymously for now), like Jordan Sparks said, “one step at a time.” and will keep this blog up and posted, so if you're queer, a person of colour, a queer person of colour QPOC (double bonus), interested in weird random facts, coffee, food, nerdy things, cartoons, anime, netflix, food, cakes, animals, technology, food, did I mentioned food? :)
Anyway, I bet theres like 2 people reading this (or not, maybe its just me) but ohhh well, Its all good, I’m not big of a social butter-fly.
Ohhh and if you're racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or oppressive in anyway, stay away, because I will find you and ...... *kha kha* you.
Calling All Genders
I want to interview you.
As mentioned in my previous post, I am on the hunt for people to interview regarding how they relate to their gender/sex and how they represent it in terms of style, lifestyle, etc. This is largely to do with my product (neckties) and the goal of my business to fill the void in the market of gender neutral/fluid/non-defined friendly clothes. Ties are not just for men, and not just for butch women. They're for everyone.
If you're willing to sport a tie (or an ascot) for an hour and do an interview with me (even if you just want to do the interview) please let me know.
You do not have to be "butch" or "androgynous" to qualify. If you have a strong sense that you in some way run against the grain of what's stereotypically "masculine" and "feminine" then I'm interested. It won't hurt to ask.
Also: I'm in Vancouver BC, so it'd be helpful if you too are from (generally) that area.
