One of the most beautiful experiences of my life.  This is the first @vanityfairitalia @vanityfairfrance and @vanityfairspain ICON ISSUE starring the one and only @madonna THE ICON ISSUE is an artistic project created by the photographers @luigiandiango expressing the values Madonna has defended throughout her artistic path and iconography and celebrating her role and her contribution in the progress of our culture.  A stunning portfolio from a two-day shooting with more than 80 talents remembering her 40 years career and cherishing her new world tour. This is the first of an annual initiative which transcends the boundaries of publishing, becoming an artistic project that includes an exhibition, a short movie, a collaboration between fashion, art and design, and an urban art performance. Everything will be unveiled in the next days. THE ICON ISSUE hits today the italian newsstands (France and Spain from January 24th): it includes an exclusive interview with Madonna (by me) plus texts, interviews and point of views from artists, designers, writers, philosophers, directors such as Pedro Almodovar, John Galliano, Katherine Angel, Michela Murgia, Marilena Delli Umuhoza, Francesco Bonami and many others.
