I am kindly begging for you to tell me more about Vannemori, please, I am *captivated*.
im honoured so i did a sketch of him for u. info below the cut.
cool so i'm autistic which means you get full context.
the worldbuild he's from is inspired by warhammer but it's not exactly warhammer so keep that in mind as i relay his whole thing.
i take a breath.... before high and dark eldar were a thing, they all came from elleyrion, the first continent. at peace while their world, called a realmstar, was being ordered, the veil around it was shattered by monstrosities from the outer dark and eldar went to war with cosmic abominations.
these eldar that sailed out from the first continent to take the battle to the enemy in the darklands, far away from the light of asra. in battling said abominations, they found that they had to adopt the tactics and rancid vibes of their enemy in order to survive and eventually be victorious. these eldar often found that they were changed and opted to stay in the scarred parts of the world, now lit by the "sun" so as to not corrupt the font of the realmstar's power.
Vannemori is one of the eldar that initially returned to Elleyrion, now shattered and called Valurn, realized he was actually fucked up and liked to dress like a gothic lord and hurt people and ended up returning to the west with the dark eldar; having realized he was basically one of them.
he pledged himself to a lord so he wouldn't be eviscerated on sight as, in this world, high eldar have silver, aetherdense blood that's highly innervating to the vampiric dark eldar. It gives him a weakness and a bargaining chip in all his dealings.
he struggles with his preferences and inclinations but is generally still quite noble.
idk if all this makes you like him more or less ty for coming to my yap session
