My Mind Is A Warrior | Varamadras & Ream
This was bad. The news about Orractous hit them all hard. He and Ream were not that close, but she respected him, she knew he was important, especially to Varamadras. They were in the middle of a war and these were hard times, but that didn’t mean she had to pretend she was alright with everything that happened and that it didn’t affect her the way it did. The longer the war dragged out, the more she wondered if it would ever stop
Now Ream was sitting in her room, staring out of the window wishing for better times. What happened to Orractous was terrible and this was not what they needed. They needed hope and not bad news. If there would be something she could do... But what if there actually was? There must be, then it can’t end like this. This was not how it was suposed to go down. Suddenly it hit her.
It was mere more than a spark on an idea, but it was enough for her to leave everything behind and run to Varamadras. Maybe there was hope and she couldn’t just let this go. Ream ran like it was a life and death question and somehow it was. The woman knocked on a door, but didn’t wait for an answer, just entered - something she usually wouldn’t dare to do.
“What if I told you there is something we could do for Orractous? Something I could do...”
