Nat looked over the file she had been given, almost in disbelief of the assignment. Sure vampires had been "out of the coffin" for some time now, but to be actually assigned to protect Lestat? It was definitely one of her more unusual jobs, but she gladly welcomed the challenge. After all, if she got to kill a few Hydra thugs along the way, she couldn't really complain.
After making sure she was thoroughly armed she set out to where the vampire turned rockstar was staying. She slid from her car, pulling her leather jacket tight around her as she walked up the front stairs to the door, knocking a few times before waiting patiently. She had heard of the singer, and even enjoyed his music, but she couldn't help but feel a bit surreal as she stood on the stoop of the opulent house, feeling just a little bit out of place.
Her sea green eyes met his grey ones when the door opened, her voice calm and smooth despite the slightly quick pace of her heart. "Lestat de Lioncourt, I'm Special Agent Natalia Romanova, and I've been sent by SHIELD to protect you."
