Best Kept Beauty Secret

In the Spirit of KIS (keeping it simple) I wanted to share with you one of the most ecomomical ways of keeping your skin moisturized.

I have very sensitive skin. Almost anything, will make my skin itchy, and red.

 I make my own cold processed soaps, so that I can control the ingredients. I also make my own lip balm. 

 I’ve used a lot of beauty products over the years, and have even made my own body lotions and oils. Which is cheaper than buying lotions from the store, but time consuming. What most women (or men) don’t know, is that Vaseline petroleum jelly is one of the best body moisturizers on the market. 

Take a look at the ingredients in your mositurizers. There is probably mineral oil, petroleum jelly, beeswax, and of course a preservative, to keep the nasty microbes away.

I’ve finally learned that age old lesson that “Less is More”.

What will I do with all the money I’ll be saving? Probably buying wine!
