First minis painted in a while, and the first from a batch of 3D prints I got from a mystery box I bought in December.
Yeoman in the colours of The Krushers.

So I ordered the Battletech Boxed Set. Mostly so I could have 8 more minis, 7 of which I don't have, to paint. But also to have the rules some maps, etc to learn the game and possibly bust out if me & a nerd friend want to have a game & kill some time. Despite my "vast" collection of mechs I've been buying to paint not play prior to now.
So my question is, for those of you who bought the box set, what units did you paint the 2 lances as? I want to avoid the solid red (Kurita), solid green (Davion), etc I see a lot of new players do as that's not very fun.
I have about ~12 units from Camospecs I'm mulling over while I wait for it to arrive. So plenty of time to wittle that down to two which idealy visually contrast with each other and come from different realms.
Current works in progress. Mostly alp that's left is the weapon ports & a matt varnish. May do a second light wash over the metallics, bit moredrybrush on the grey bits first. We'll see.
May dig through the shame box after these & do some non mechs for a bit.
